Enrollment
Health informatics training is offered through any of the 17 community colleges in the HIT Consortium through an open enrollment system. In order to successfully complete the program within six months, incoming students should have qualifying knowledge and experience in the healthcare or information technology field. Programs are designed to ensure that all required courses can be completed within six months, though courses are not generally tied to specific semesters or quarterly periods. Courses begin when a minimum number of qualified students have signed up. Limited financial aid is available.
To enroll, or for more information about financial aid, contact the participating college in your area.
